Custom Paintings
Have a vision or an idea that you want to see on paper? Let’s talk! I would love to spend time with you to hear your heart, catch your vision, and include you in the creative process every step of the way.
Portraits
From people to pets, I love to communicate love, respect, and life through my work, and I love to help celebrate beloved people, pets, and places. I like to be stretched to try new things, so let’s talk about styles/desires/ideas you have!
Design and Illustration
To date, I have designed seven book covers, illustrated two children’s books, created business logos and marketing material for several business including a thriving Colorado bakery, a real-estate company, a personal product line, and an organic food company among others. I have a deep passion for visual communication, and I enjoy challenges!
Calligraphy
Fun fact: I created a club called the Inkings Calligraphy club in college! I have been an insufferable nerd about historical typography and calligraphy since 8th grade, so please don’t ask me to talk about it if you value your time. However, say the word, and I will make it pretty! (hehe)
Wedding Art
Weddings are a major passion for me; there are few things I enjoy more than getting to bless a new marriage with artwork, and I feel so deeply grateful to get to participate in such a special day! I especially enjoy making custom invitations, monograms, calligraphy signs and addressing, save-the-dates, menus, wedding favors, and I can even print them all right at home on my professional-grade printer!
F.A.Q.
Feel free to contact me with any more questions!
I use a fairly standard art pricing method for painting commissions: pricing per square inch. Most artists charge between $2 and $8 per square inch, I charge $4. The reason why I charge by square inch rather than by the hour is that I want you to know that I will keep working on your piece until you are absolutely delighted with it, and I won’t stop until we reach that point. If you make the generous choice to invest in me and my artwork, I want you to feel like you got a steal!
Yes! I happen to be married to an adorable man who is an excellent woodworker. He is my business partner and partner-in-crime, and he he makes frames for my work! We can have a conversation about particular frames you might have in mind.
While I do prefer that out-of-state people purchase things on my Etsy shop, that’s a little silly for Twin Cities folks! Contact me, and I would love to get coffee with you and invite you into our little home shop/gallery! 🙂 Might even send you home with some fresh produce from the garden!
It depends on the project, but let’s talk about your timeline, and I’ll do my best to work with your needs in mind!
I do! I have a lovely shipping system in place, and I am so excited to work with you, wherever you are! 🙂
